Day 1: Arrival and Kathmandu sightseeing

After arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport, our driver will pick you up to drop till the hotel. You will be offered a welcome drink before checking into the hotel. After getting a little fresh, you will be visiting the major sites of Kathmandu. Without visiting the capital city, one will never understand the beauty of the country. The chaotic city of Kathmandu will take you to an amazing journey of spirituality. According to the old scriptures, Kathmandu has been one of the ancient cities of Nepal. It has its own mythical narratives; if you are quite interested in knowing the past history of Kathmandu then you must visit the heritage monument sites located around the valley.

You will start your day with the visit to Pashupatinath temple. This 5th-century Licchavi period temple stands out as one of the architectural marvels. Nepal is the land where people accumulate together to attain spiritual nirvana. The religious and spiritual aura exists in the air of the country. While stepping into the temple, you will get such a sensation in every corner of the temple. In every religion, the cycle of birth and death revolves in a circular manner. After entering this auspicious pilgrimage site, you will find that cremation grounds on the banks of Bagmati River along with thousands of pilgrims visiting the temple in search of spiritual solace. Apart from its spiritual significance, you will be equally astonished by its amazing architectural skills. The temple architecture will definitely introduce to the unique nature of Nepali style of architecture and sculpture. It is one of the UNESCO’s world heritage sites. The national deity, Lord Pashupatinath is worshipped in the inner sanctum of the temple. Within the temple complex, pilgrims will find out different temples, ashrams and religious monuments devoted to different gods and goddesses.

Next, you will be visiting Swayambhunath Temple. Located on the northwestern direction of Kathmandu valley, the pilgrims visit this famous temple in search of peace. This stupa is one of the remarkable locations to visit by the Buddhists. Around the 13th century, King Manadeva built this spiritual center for practicing Buddhism. When one travels to the top of the hillock, one can catch the glimpse of Kathmandu valley.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Chitwan

Today early in the morning you will be starting for Chitwan National Park. As mentioned earlier, the country will never stop you surprising with its diversity. This UNESCO listed world heritage site will also be an amazing experience for you. The wilderness of the national park will completely amaze you. Being a foreign traveler, you want to explore the beauty of the national park. Nestled in the foothills of Himalayas, this park gives shelter to some endangered species of the world. You won’t regret visiting this national park for its natural and scenic beauty.

After checking into the resort, you can go for canoe riding on the beautiful Rapti River. The canoe riding on this narrow stretch of water will take you deep into the forest. It will be a wonderful experience to take a ride along the river and enjoying the mesmerizing view of the forest alongside the banks of the river. The park covers a total area of 360 sq miles. Day 3: Chitwan jungle safari

Today you will be exploring the national park completely. It is located in the southern part of Nepal. You will get a lifetime experience in this park. Visit this park will completely quench your utmost thirst to reveal nature. You will witness nature in real form. Among different species, the notable ones are a one-horned rhino, Asiatic elephants, royal Bengal tigers, deer, and crocodiles. One should roam around the national park on the back of elephants to enjoy the royalty at its best. After exploring this extensive natural habitation of species, you can also visit the breeding grounds of gharial and elephants.

In the evening, you will encounter an amazing experience by the local indigenous community called Tharu. These people live on the surrounding villages of Chitwan. They sustain their livelihood on agriculture mostly. You will visit their ethnic mud houses to know how they live. These local people will perform cultural events for you. Day 4: Chitwan to Pokhara

After taking breakfast you will be getting ready for Pokhara. It is known to be the tourism capital of Nepal. Visiting the country will remain incomplete without going to this place. Located at an elevation of 1400m, it is considered to be the gateway for the exciting hiking trails. You will catch a beautiful glance of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges from Pokhara. During the time of sunset, you can go for boating on the beautiful Phewa Lake. The scenic beauty of the lake will mesmerize you completely. Day 5: Pokhara

Day 6: Pokhara to Kathmandu

Basic Guidelines for Nepal Tour Packages:

 

Best time to visit Nepal – March, April, May, June (during summer)

                                          September, October, November, December (during winter)

 

Nepal Visa - The passport holders of India do not require any Nepal Visa. They must carry their Voter ID card or passport (For Indians).

 

Transportation: If you are booking your Nepal tour via Nepal Tourism Package, then you will get cars like Toyota Etios, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Polo, Tata Manza or similar kind of cars for 1-3 persons. Cars like Tourist Van (Toyota Hiace) or Jeep or Scorpio will be allotted for 10 persons. We will provide Green Plate vehicles for our tourists.

 

Recommendation - Some tourists avail flight on way to Pokhara from Kathmandu. It is advisable to take at least one way via road to enjoy the enchanting beauty of the natural landscape of Nepal.
