Day - 01 – Kathmandu Arrival and Transfer to Hotel

Day - 02 - Sightseeing around Kathmandu

After enjoying good food for your breakfast, you will then start for the day. According to the old scriptures, Kathmandu is one of the oldest cities that will show you the ruins of ancient times. The primitiveness of the city will completely mesmerize you. You will start unraveling its mystery with your heritage walk. Start your day with Pashupatinath darshan. It is the national deity of the country. The religious temple shrine of Pashupatinath is located on the beautiful banks of Bagmati River. The temple complex is one of the most popular religious sites to be visited by the pilgrims of different religious beliefs. Inside the temple complex, one finds out temples devoted to different gods and goddesses. During the 5th century, Prachanda Dev, Lichchavi King erected the temple. With times, the temple was decayed until it is the oldest Hindu temple of the country. The deity Pashupatinath gained fame among the devotees as the Lord of Pashus. In Hindu mythology, darshan plays an important role to bring the devotees close to the devoted god. The ornamented pagoda styled temple still symbolizes the base of Shaivaism. After visiting such amazing temple architecture you will be going for the next stop.
Then you will be visiting Swayambhunath stupa, a marvelous symbol of Buddhism. The beautiful temple is located at the top of the hill in the valley of Kathmandu. From the hilltop, one can get a spectacular view of the valley as a whole. The Buddhist Newars believe this mythological place as the central most location in practicing Buddhism. Within the complex of the stupa, one finds out small temple shrines venerated during the Licchavi period. The main attraction of the stupa among the pilgrims is due to its wide eye sights. The compassion that one can feel in the eyes of Buddha painted on the walls of Stupa is quite famous. It is said that most of the iconography in Swayambhunath got its influence form Vajrayana School of thoughts of Newar Buddhism. Day - 03 - Sightseeing tour around Bhaktapur & Patan

After taking your breakfast start your second stretch of the journey. These two ancient cities are located in the eastern part of Kathmandu. While traveling to Nepal, traditional and ethnicity will completely amaze you. The old structures, scriptures, monuments will definitely give you an overview of the ancient time. UNESCO listed this city as one of the world’s heritage sites. Newar people make a settlement on this place. This place is famous for its spectacular craftsmanship in making pottery, masks and other items. If you are lucky enough then you can confront the mask dances as well in these places. It is said that both these cities are preserved quite well by the government of Nepal.
Today you will be visiting Bhaktapur and Patan. The historical courtyard of Bhaktapur was constructed just in front of the magnificent palace of Bhaktapur kingdom. In this site, you will find out an art gallery, golden gate, 55 window palace, states of Malla kings and many more. In the walls of Bhaktapur Durbar, you will find out astounding figures made out of stone and wood carvings. Later you will be visiting Patan Durbar square. Here you will encounter the marvelous works of Newar architecture. The red bricks floors and numerous temples and idols will give you an overall idea of the religious practices at ancient time. The Malla kings constructed this amazing royal square to showcase his extravagance. Day - 04 – Transfer to Pokhara

Day - 05 – Sightseeing at Pokhara

Today you have reached the last stretch of your journey. You can get up early in the morning to witness the beauty of sunrise on the laps of Dhaulagiri and Kanchenjunga for one last time. After completing breakfast, our driver will leave for your homebound journey. You will be taking your flight from Kathmandu airport. Three hours prior to the journey you will be dropped at the airport. If you have ample time then you can go for shopping in the local markets to buy memoirs for your loved ones.
