NTP visits all the main tourist destinations in Nepal, with a special visit to Muktinath Temple in the stunning Lower Mustang region. The tour begins in Lumbini, a most sacred pilgrimage site for Buddhists, as well as a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the birth place of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. Buddha was born in Lumbini some 2500 years ago. It is one of the iconic places in Nepal and given its historical importance, it remains a widely visited and beloved place in Nepal.
We then moved to the famous trekkers' paradise, Pokhara. It lies on the picturesque Fewa Lake and the base of the Annapurna range. There is plenty to see in the area. We'll take you to Sarangkot to see the sunrise and an exquisite tour of several famous sites: Bindabasini Temple, Davi's Fall, Gupteswar Cave, and Seti Gorge. We'll spend the rest of the day checking out the sights in and around Pokhara.
Then, we take a flight from Pokhara to Jomsom, and drive to Muktinath Temple. Thousands of devotees flock at the temple for attaining the much sought after moksha, have holy bath at 108 waterspouts, named “Muktidhara”. & Holy bath in Mukti Kunda (2 Kunda in front of Temple), believing that it brings them salvation. To visit Muktinath Temple is an absolute dream. After further exploring Pokhara, we moved to Kathmandu, making a stop at Manakamana Temple along the way. We visited Manakamana Temple, enjoying the gorgeous view from the cable car on our way.
After arriving in Kathmandu, we rest for a night and then explore the city's several UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambunath (also known as Monkey Temple), and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Each place is rich in culture and history. Swayambhunath is full of symbolism and is one of the oldest religious sites in Nepal (over 2000 years old!). The Buddhist temple offers an incredible view of Kathmandu. Pasupatinath Temple is the most famous Hindu temple in the country. You can see sadhus (holy men) meditating, pilgrims bathing, and bodies being cremated on the banks of the Bagmati River.
The next day we travel to Janakpur, a colorful city famous for its Janaki Temple, Dhanus Sagar, Ram & Sita Biwaha Mandap. The final destination is Chitwan National Park, famous for its biodiversity. Take a ride on the back of an elephant and possibly see rhinoceros, deer, wild boars, and even a Bengal tiger. There is plenty to do in Chitwan National Park, so use your days wisely. This package is a perfect way to make the most of your days in Nepal. It is truly the best way to see as much of the country in a limited time frame.

Day 01: Drive from Gorakhpur to Lumbini
On the first day, you will be picked up from Gorakhpur railway station and then be transferred to Sunauli, Nepal-India Border. After completing the border formalities on your own, you will enter the Nepali territory and continue to drive to Lumbini. Overnight stay at Lumbini.
Day 02: Drive from Lumbini to Pokhara
After having breakfast in the morning, we will proceed to Lumbini for a sightseeing tour. Check out the temples, monuments, monasteries in Lumbini and enjoy the serene beauty of the region. After this, you will then drive to Pokhara, a tourist's paradise full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains. The city is blessed with natural beauty of the mountains, caves, temples and many such beauties. Overnight stay at Pokhara.
Day 03: Fly From Pokhara to Jomsom and drive to Muktinath and back to Jomsom
Have breakfast early in the morning, after which you will fly to Jomsom from the Pokhara Airport. It will approximately take around 35 minutes. From here, you will drive to Muktinath by local transport (1.30 hrs) along the Kali Gandaki River. Muktinath is a sacred temple in the region and the shrine is considered as the god of Salvation. After performing Darshan and worship at the Muktinath Temple, you will drive back to Jomsom. Overnight stay at Jomsom.
Day 04: Fly to Pokhara and Pokhara City Tour
After a short flight to Pokhara, we spent the day seeing the sights.
Bindawasini Temple: Bindawasini is one of the most popular temples in Pokhara. The temple is dedicated to goddess Bhagwati, another manifestation of Shakti. Bindabasini is the mother goddess who fulfills the wishes of her devotees. Davi's Fall: Locally known as the Patale Chhango, Davi's Fall (also known as Devin's and David's) is a lovely waterfall lying about two km south-west of the Pokhara Airport on the Siddhartha Highway.
Gupteswar Cave: Another cave famous for its religious importance located in the southern end of the city, Chorepatan. This cave is a sacred and natural cave where there is the temple of Lord Shiva. Seti Gorge: Another of Pokhara's natural wonders that unfailingly interests visitors is the Seti River. Amazingly, at certain points the river appears barely two meters wide. But its depth is quite beyond imagination, over 20 meters. In evening leisure, overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 05: Drive from Pokhara to Manakamana and Kathmandu
After breakfast in the morning, the visitors will drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by a private vehicle. The drive along the Prithvi Highway takes around six hours and you will enjoy the scenic drive along the Trishuli River. En route, we can visit the Manakamana Temple via cable car service. The temple is located at 1,302 meters of altitude. The deity is one of the manifestations of the Hindu Goddess Bhagawati who is believed to have the power to fulfill wishes of the devotees. It is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites in Nepal. Overnight Stay at Kathmandu.
Day 06: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, you will then start your tour around Kathmandu City. On our sightseeing tour, we go to Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Boudhanath Stupa. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 07: Drive from Kathmandu to Janakpur
After having morning breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Janakpur. Reaching Janakpur in the evening, we are then transferred to the Hotel. Janakpur is famous for the Janaki Temple, Dhanus Sagar, Ram & Sita Biwaha Mandap, among other things. This is a very historic and ancient place. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 08: Drive from Janakpur to Chitwan
You will have breakfast early in the morning and proceed for the sightseeing tour of Janakpur. In the sightseeing tour, you will visit the famous Janaki Temple, Dhanus Agar, Ganga Sagar, Ram & Sita Biwaha Mandap by means of local transport. You will then drive to Chitwan, approx. three to four hours by private vehicle. Chitwan is one of the last strongholds of the Royal Bengal tiger. Other threatened mammals found in the park include leopard, wild dog, sloth bear, and gaur among many others. In the evening, You can enjoy the Tharu culture dance show performed by the farmers of the nearby villages who will show some of their traditional skills and dances. Overnight stay at Chitwan.
Day 09: Chitwan Activities
After having breakfast at the guesthouse in the morning, you will then proceed for Elephant Jungle safari during which you will ride on an elephant through the jungle. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours. Our guides will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter. We will then proceed ahead for the Canoeing Trip: A traditional dugout canoe will take you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view aquatic birds and the animals of the riverbanks. You will return back to the resort through the Jungle in the evening. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 10: Drive from Chitwan to Gorakhpur, end of tour
