Delhi to Kathmandu Overview
Discover the best of northern India on this tour from Delhi to Agra, Varanasi and on to Kathmandu in Nepal.
Begin in the bustling market area of Old Delhi before exploring the great monuments of India's capital city.
Head across Rajasthan with your own car, driver and guide to the Pink City of Jaipur where you will visit the great Amber Fort and see Jaipur's magnificent architecture.
After the colour of Rajasthan, head to Agra and see the Taj Mahal, the great Moghul monument to love.
From Agra head down to Khajuraho and see the exotically carved Hindu and Jain temples.
Complete the Indian part of the journey in Varanasi, the spiritual capital of India and witness the pilgrims flocking to the riverside ghats by the Ganges.
From Varanasi head to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal in the shadow of the Himalayas.

Day 1: Fly UK to Delhi
Overnight flight from UK to Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi
On arrival in Delhi you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel.
In the afternoon enjoy a rickshaw ride through the bustling markets of Chandni Chowk, with all the colour of life in Delhi's most vibrant location.

Day 3: Delhi
After breakfast enjoy a full day tour of Delhi, including Qutab Minar, Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Rajghat

Day 4: Jaipur
After breakfast depart by private car across Rajasthan to the Pink City of Jaipur.
On arrival in Jaipur check in to your chosen hotel with the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5: Jaipur
After breakfast, enjoy a full day tour in Jaipur including a visit to the Amber Fort.

Day 6: Jaipur - Agra
After breakfast, drive to Agra with a visit to Fatephur Sikri en-route.
On arrival in Agra you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel.

Day 7: Agra
Enjoy a morning visit to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort with the afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 8: Khajuraho
After an early breakfast, drive to Khajuraho and en-route visit Gwalior and Jhansi a historic princely city in Uttar Pradesh.
On arrival at Khajuraho, check-in to your hotel.

Day 9: Khajuraho - Varanasi
After breakfast visit the Eastern & Western group of temples at Kajuraho, famous for their spectacular erotic carvings.
Later transfer to the airport for your flight to Varanasi where you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel

Day 10: Varanasi
You have the whole day free to explore Varanasi independently.
Alternatively add on a guided excursion if you prefer to be with a guide for the day.

Day 11: Varanasi - Kathmandu
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu where you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel.

Day 12: Kathmandu
In the morning, enjoy a half day tour of Kathmandu City & Swayambhunath.
In the afternoon, visit Patan City one of the three centres in the Kathmandu Valley.

Day 13: Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive to Bhaktapur another city founded in the 9th century.
Enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
Day 15: Arrive UK
