Day 1: Arrival and sightseeing Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our driver will pick you up for the hotel. You will be warmly welcomed by the hotel representative with welcome drinks. Our hotel representative will brief you the entire itinerary. After a cordial introduction with each other, you can start your day tour around the capital city of Kathmandu. Nepal Tourism remains incomplete without proper sightseeing around the Kathmandu. UNESCO listed this city as an ancient one for its enriched cultural heritage. You will visit Pashupatinath temple at first. This gorgeous temple shrine is built on the banks of Bagmati River. Licchavi King, Prachanda Dev built this famous temple devoted to a heavenly incarnation of Lord Shiva. On the auspicious day of Mahashivratri, millions of pilgrims travel to this beautiful temple to seek the blessings.  Apart from the spiritual revelation, if you are an ardent lover of architecture, then you will definitely appreciate the beautiful craftsmanship.

Next, you will be visiting Boudhanath stupa. This Buddhist spiritual site dominates the religious landscape of the country. It is said that this famous religious site was built around the 14th century immediately after the death of Lord Buddha. A large number of pilgrims visit this notable site for offering prayers to the lord. The white dome structure made of marble is quite enticing to look at. Earlier it was an important route for trading purpose. This white colored dome has compassionate eyes of Lord Buddha painted looking at four cardinal directions. After visiting these recognized places, you will stroll along the commercial streets of Thamel. This place is quite famous among international tourists for its exciting nightlife culture. In every nook and corner, you will find out the casinos to try out your luck. Only the foreigners are allowed to enter the casinos. You can also experiment with your taste buds in the roadside stalls of Thamel. You will find out authentic Nepalese cuisines in these stalls. At night you will stay in Kathmandu.

 

Day 2: Early morning flight to Pokhara, boating at Phewa lake, Overnight at Pokhara

Distance: 200km (1hr flight) and then around the city

Today early in the morning you will take a flight to Pokhara. You will be flying across the mountains to reach this metropolitan city of Nepal. This city will allure yours visually. Mostly the travelers use this circuit for catching an amazing glimpse of the surrounding mountains. While flying across the mountains, one can feel the heights. After checking into the hotel, you can go for visiting Phewa Lake. This freshwater lake is located in the southern part of Pokhara valley. This lake is known to be the second largest one in Nepal. Mostly the tourists visit this lake on their way to Tal Barahi Temple. This temple shrine is located at the center of the lake. It is one of the recognized temple shrines located in Pokhara. If you have a spiritual bend of mind, then you must visit this beautiful pagoda styled temple. This Hindu temple shrine is devoted to goddess Durga. She has been worshipped in the form of Barahi. It is said that King Kulmandhan Shah, first Kaski king of Shah Dynasty dreamt of goddess Durga. He devoted his life for the worship of the cosmic goddess. After visiting the temple, you can witness a picturesque view of the surrounding mountains and its reflection on the crystal clear water of the lake. The crimson red colored sky and falling of sun behind the mountains will be a memorable sight. At night you will stay in Pokhara.

 

Day 3: Sarangkot visit and local Sightseeing at Pokhara

Distance: Pokhara to Sarangkot -10kms (1.5hrs both ways, to-fro) and then around the city

Start your day with an amazing drive to Sarangkot from Pokhara to witness the picturesque view of sunrise behind the mountains. It will be a lifetime experience to catch an amazing glimpse of these mountains for last time before taking your homebound flight. Your early morning drive across the mountainous terrains will be an added experience in your travel diary. This morning sky and the mountain roads will take you to an astounding experience. After enjoying a warm sunrise view from heights, you will be coming back to Pokhara. Today you will spend your day in local sightseeing across Pokhara.

If you want to go for a sight tour around Pokhara then start your day with Davis Falls. This fall is one of the major tourist spots located in Kaski district. The cascading water forms a deep gorge reaching underground. It is said that the tunnel is around 150m long and 30m in depth. The locals and foreign tourists visit this waterfall for its natural beauty. The tunnel ends at the other end of Gupteshwar cave. This cave is devoted to Lord Shiva. The local calls this cave as the underground one. Phewa Lake is the source of this waterfall. There is a lucky pond near the waterfalls. Therefore, tourists love to try their lucks by dropping coins in the pond. Next, you will be visiting Bundhyabashini temple located nearby a town called Bagar. It is said that the earlier king Siddhi Narayan Shah built this temple in 1942. Goddess Bhagawati is worshipped wholeheartedly in this temple premise. One will have to take stairs to reach the top of the temple. From the top one will get a fantastic view of Pokhara city. This shikhara styled temple has beautiful figurines of Hanuman, Ganesha, Laxmi will show you the wide practice of Hinduism in the valley of Pokhara. If you are an ardent follower of art and architecture, then you will like the architecture of the temple. Next, you will be visiting Peace Pagoda. This Buddhist stupa is built to unite the people across creeds and races to come together for a bigger cause like world peace. This stupa stands high as the symbol of peace. The people across different countries come in search of peace in meditation. The calmness of the architecture will bring you a completely different explanation of world peace.

Day 4: fly back to Kathmandu and sightseeing of Patan and swayambhunath

Distance: 200km (1hr flight) Kathmandu-Patan: 8km(30minutes), Patan to Swayambhunath-8km(30minutes)

Today you will be flying back to the capital city. After completing your delicious breakfast with the relishing sight of the mountains, you will get ready for your Kathmandu journey. It will be an hour-long flight with amazing panoramic views surrounding. The lofty mountains, clouds, deep gorges down and natural beauty will dominate your view in this hour-long flight. After landing, you will be dropped at the hotel. After a little refreshment, you will be picked up by the driver for the sightseeing.

Nepal is the country that will always amaze you with its amazing enriched heritage culture. If you are an ardent lover of art and architecture, then this amazing craftsmanship of the sculptures will make you awestruck. Today you will be visiting Patan Durbar Square located at the center of the city of Lalitpur. UNESCO has listed this city as one of the ancient heritage sites for its amazing architectural symbols. This architecture stands out exceptional among the tourists as a marvelous piece of architecture. The red cobbled streets of the complex will give a nostalgic sensation of the centuries-old culture of Newari people. Inside the temple architecture, you will find out innumerable temples devoted to different gods and goddesses. Under the reign of Malla kings, this amazing royal square was built. Krishna temple is a quite important shrine located inside the square. This shikara styled temple structure has the carvings made out of stone narrating stories of Mahabharata and Ramayana. While roaming across the square, you will feel like time wrapped of the age-old practices of Newari people. Their marvelous creation will be around you. With the devoted temple shrines, the tourists can also get an overview of the religious practices among these kings ruled centuries back.

After visiting Patan Durbar Square, you will be visiting Swayambhunath. This temple shrine is located in the northwestern part of Kathmandu valley. Nepal Visa - The passport holders of India do not require any Nepal Visa. They must carry their Voter ID card or passport (For Indians).

 

Transportation: If you are booking your Nepal tour via Nepal Tourism Package, then you will get cars like Toyota Etios, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Polo, Tata Manza or similar kind of cars for 1-3 persons.
