Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu

After arriving at Tribhuvan International airport, our driver will meet you at the entrance gate. Later he will drop you at the hotel. There you will be given a warm welcome by the hotel representatives. Namaste has been the warm way of showing gesture to the tourists. After a briefing of the itinerary, you will either relax in the hotel or stroll around the city.
On the first night, you can go to Thamel. It is one of the trendiest places located in Kathmandu valley. It is the commercial neighborhood where you will find many hotels and motels. Mostly the backpackers love to enjoy the warmth of Thamel. The nomads, artists come here to explore the cultural lifestyle in the streets of Thamel. You will find shops located at the narrow alleys. You can explore the market place and can buy memoirs for your loved ones. Casinos have been one of the booming industries in Kathmandu. Many tourists want to try their lucks in the casinos. Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing

Today you will be going to explore the major attractions located all across Kathmandu valley. It is believed to be one of the earliest cities with many historical sites. After grabbing your breakfast you will be visiting the antique relics of historical sites located around the capital city. As mentioned earlier, it is the country that warmly welcomes the pilgrims across religions. In terms of pilgrimage sites, you will visit both Hindus and Buddhist pilgrimage sites. First, you will be going to have darshan of Pashupatinath. The idol is believed to be the main idol of Nepal. It is the site where you will encounter the spiritual values of life. It is the site where one discovers divinity to some extent. Around the temple complex, you will find hermits performing penance in search of divinity. Along the Bagmatiriver, you will find crematorial grounds. Unless the Hindus, no one is allowed to visit the temple premise. Pashupatinath is the national deity of the country and it comes under the list of UNESCO’s world heritage sites list. On MahaShivaratri, more than 1 million devotees visit the sacred temple of Pashupatinath. PrachandaDev from Lichchavi dynasty built this temple in the 5th century. In the temple complex, you will find other temples, ashrams, and monuments as well. You will stay overnight at the hotel.
You next halt will be Hiranya Varna Mahavihar. It is the golden colored monastery located in Patan district of Nepal. In this monastery, you can feed the rats. King BhaskarVarman built this pagoda for the respect of Shakyamuni Buddha. In the monastery, you will find the beautiful golden image along with a prayer wheel.
Next, you will be going to Golden Temple Mahabouddha for its marvelous carvings on the wall. This monument was built in the 14th century with clay bricks. This temple was built under the influence of Shikhara style. You will find beautiful works on terracotta covering the image of Lord Buddha. This temple is built following the architecture of Mahabouddha temple located in Bodhgaya.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara

You will be covering a distance of 206 km from Kathmandu to reach Pokhara in 6 hours. Have you ever traveled across the mountains and enjoyed the beautiful sight? You will be enjoying the amazing sight along the Prithvi Highway on your drive to Pokhara. The small town built on the shores of Trishuli River. Located on the western part of Nepal, it is one of the beautiful places to explore in Nepal. The adventure seekers travel to this beautiful town to engage in different adventurous sports like bungee jumping, canoeing, white water rafting, and paragliding. Every year, international tourists travel to Pokhara to explore these adventurous sports on the rustic landscape.
Day 4: Pokhara sightseeing

After taking breakfast, today you will be going for sightseeing around Pokhara. You will be visiting Bindebasini temple at first. It is one of the earliest temples located in the city of Pokhara. Kaski rulers built this temple. Goddess Durga is the prime deity of the temple. You will get a complete view of the Himalayas as well from this region. In the area of the local bazaar, you will find out the temple. With the visit to the temple, you will be visiting the old bazar premises as well. You will also go for visiting a waterfall called PataleChongo, located around 2kms away in the southwest direction of Pokhara. In the summers and monsoons, you will get the view of the gushing water falling from the waterfall. Next, you will be visiting the Gupteshwar cave, located just on the opposite side of the fall. If you are an ardent lover of architecture, then you will find this cave fascinating due to its natural forms made out of the deposits of limestone. You cannot take photographs in the premises of the caves.
Optional
If you have time you can go to the old Tibetan refugee camp area. You will find prayer flags all around the place. In this particular location, you will find out monks living there. The chanting prayers of the monks will be a delightful experience for you. If you are traveling during December last week, then you can also explore the cultural fests organizing along the streets of Pokhara.
In the evening, you will be going to explore the local marketplace. You will find handicrafts, cultural artifacts, and local attires all around this place. If you want to taste local spices in your food then you can buy it from the marketplace.

Day 5: Pokhara excursion

You will be hiking to Phedi, Dhampus village and Australian camp. On this trail, you will be getting amazing views from Dhaulagiri to Manaslu peaks. Day 6: Pokhara to Nagarkot

Today your entire day will be spent for traveling purpose. After breakfast, you will be driving to Nagarkot from Pokhara via Kathmandu. If you have seen the beautiful sunrise in Sarangkot, you will get to see the view of the sunset across the mountains. While driving you can see how beautiful the crimson red colored sky will engulf you. You will feel the beauty of nature at its peak. The enigmatic sight of sunset will engrave in your mind forever. At night you will be staying at Nagarkot.
Day 7: Nagarkot to Kathmandu

Distance: 28km (2hrs)

After breakfast, you will be traveling back to the capital city. You will be reaching the capital via the beautiful city of temples, Bhaktapur. It is located at the easternmost corner of the Kathmandu valley in Bagmati zone. Mostly, the tourists are well aware of the Durbar Square located in Bhaktapur. In this place, you will find a complete blend of Nepalese pagoda styled temples along with Shikhara styled temples. The entire temple complex has more than 55 places dedicated to the Hindu gods and goddesses. You will find the royal palace located at Dattaraya square. During the earthquake in 1934, the place was completely ruined and became more spacious.
You can also visit the five-storied pagodas styled temple called Nyatapola temple. King BhupatindraMalla built this temple in the year between 1701 and 1702. This temple is devoted to Siddha Laxmi. Hindus believe this goddess as the transmitter of prosperity.
In the evening, you can go to visit the local market to buy any token of love for the near and dear ones. At night you will stay in Kathmandu.
Day 8: Departure
