Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival & Half-day Sightseeing Tour

Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, you will be greeted by airport staff or your designated tour incharge. They will assist you with the necessary immigration and customs formalities.

After completing the arrival procedures, you will make your way to the hotel. The hotel transfer will be arranged in advance, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey. Once you arrive at the hotel, you can take a short break to relax and freshen up.

After the break, you will continue with the formalities of the program. This may involve meeting your tour organizer or guide to discuss the itinerary, timings, and any other important details related to your stay in Kathmandu.

The following day, you will embark on a half-day sightseeing tour. The first destinations on the itinerary will be Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, and the Pashupatinath Temple.Swayambhunath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley and is home to a sacred stupa. Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated on the banks of the Bagmati River.

In the evening, you will have the opportunity to witness the Arati Darshan, a beautiful and spiritual ceremony at Pashupatinath Temple. This ceremony involves the offering of prayers, chanting, and the lighting of oil lamps, creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere.

After the sightseeing tour and the evening's spiritual experience, you will return to your hotel and stay the night in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel in Kathmandu, you will leave on a scenic journey to Pokhara, which is approximately 210 kilometers away. The mode of transportation for this leg of the trip will be a private jeep, providing comfort and flexibility throughout the eight to nine-hour drive.

As you traverse the route, you will be captivated by the picturesque scenery of lush green hills, charming little villages, and the meandering Trisuli and Marshyandi Rivers. The journey offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Nepal's landscape.

After approximately four hours and covering 100 kilometers, you will reach Kuringtar. Here, you will make a stop to visit the renowned Manakamana Temple. This temple is dedicated to the wish-fulfilling goddess and is situated atop a hill. To reach the temple, you will experience an exhilarating cable car ride, which adds to the excitement and adventure of the journey.

Once you have paid your respects and experienced darshan (a religious ritual of witnessing the deity), you will resume your drive towards Pokhara, which will take around three hours. Throughout the journey, you can continue to appreciate the stunning views and landscapes.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, a transfer will be arranged to take you to your hotel. You will have some spare time to relax and unwind after the long journey and settle into the serene surroundings of Pokhara, which is famous for its tranquil lakes and breathtaking mountain views.

You will spend the night in Pokhara, enjoying the comfort of your hotel and preparing for the upcoming adventures and exploration that await you in this beautiful city.

Day 3: Drive Pokhara to Jomsom

After an early breakfast at the hotel in Pokhara, you will begin your journey to Jomsom via a private jeep. Jomsom is located approximately 175 miles away from Pokhara, and the drive will take around 7 to 8 hours.

During the scenic drive, you will make several stops at tiny settlements along the way, allowing you to explore and appreciate the cultural and natural highlights of the region. Some of the notable stops include Baglung Kalika Mandir, Galeshwor Mahadev Temple, Natural Hot Spring, and Rupse Waterfall. These sites offer opportunities to immerse yourself in the local traditions, enjoy the soothing hot springs, and witness the beauty of the waterfall.

As you continue towards Jomsom, the road conditions will change as you reach Beni. The road becomes hilly and uneven, adding a sense of adventure to the journey. As you ascend, you will be greeted by the majestic snow-capped mountains, creating a truly awe-inspiring experience. The journey through Ghasa Village, nestled amidst the mountains, will further enhance the excitement and scenic beauty of the trip.

Throughout the drive, the mountains will play hide and seek, revealing themselves in glimpses, adding to the allure and anticipation of reaching Jomsom.

Upon arrival in Jomsom, you will settle into your hotel, where you can take some rest and unwind after the long journey. Jomsom, located in the Mustang District, is known for its unique landscape and mesmerizing mountain views.

You will spend the night in Jomsom, enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings and preparing for upcoming adventures and exploration in this remarkable region.

Day 4: Drive to Mutktinath, Darshan, and Return to Tatopani

Breakfast will be served at the hotel in Jomsom before starting the day's activities. The distance between Jomsom and Muktinath is approximately 20 kilometers, which takes about an hour to travel. You will take a personal jeep for this journey.

The road from Jomsom to Kagbeni covers the first 10 kilometers and is gravelly, while the remaining kilometers are blacktopped. En route, you will have the opportunity to visit Kagbeni Village, which is located at the confluence of the Krishna Gandaki and Kaligandaki rivers. This picturesque village offers a glimpse into the local culture and stunning natural surroundings.

Upon arriving in Muktinath, you will embark on a 30-minute climb to reach the Muktinath Temple. If you are unable to walk, there is an option to ride horses. At the temple, you will perform ritualistic duties, have darshan (sacred viewing of the deity), and experience the spiritual atmosphere.

Afterward, you will drive back to Jomsom and have lunch. Following lunch, the journey continues towards Tatopani. Once you reach Tatopani, you will check into a lodge or teahouse and have the opportunity to take a nap and rest.

You will spend the night at the lodge or teahouse in Tatopani, enjoying the relaxing atmosphere and preparing for the next day's adventures.

Day 5: Drive back to Pokhara and Half Day Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will embark on a three-hour drive back to Pokhara from Tatopani. Once you arrive in Pokhara, you will proceed to nearby sightseeing destinations.

The first stop will be the Barahi Temple, situated near Fewa Lake. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Barahi and is located on a small island in the lake. You can enjoy the serene surroundings and seek blessings at the temple.

Next, you will visit the Bindabasini Temple, a significant Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Durga. It is located on a hilltop and offers panoramic views of Pokhara city and the surrounding mountains.

You will also explore the Seti Gandaki River, known for its unique milky white color and the deep gorge it has carved through the city. The river flows through Pokhara and offers beautiful views and photo opportunities.

Another attraction on the itinerary is Devi's Fall (also known as Patale Chhango), a mesmerizing waterfall that disappears into an underground tunnel. You can witness the power and beauty of the waterfall from a safe viewing point.

Lastly, you will visit the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, which is located near Devi's Fall. This cave holds immense religious significance and houses a sacred Shiva lingam. You can explore the intricate natural formations inside the cave and experience its mystical ambiance.

After a day of sightseeing, you will return to your hotel in Pokhara and stay the night, enjoying the comforts of the city and reflecting on the memorable experiences of your journey.

Day 6: Drive back to Kathmandu

After breakfast in Pokhara, you will begin the approximately 7-hour drive back to Kathmandu. The journey will take you through scenic landscapes and provide opportunities to admire the natural beauty of Nepal.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. Take this time to relax, unwind, and enjoy some leisure time. You can also explore the local markets for shopping and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

You will spend the night in Kathmandu, enjoying the comfort of your hotel and reflecting on the memories of your journey throughout Nepal.

Day 7: Final Departure to The International Airport

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. The usual check-out time is around noon. Please ensure you have packed your belongings and settled any outstanding bills.

Keep in mind that airport check-in typically opens three hours prior to departure. Plan your departure accordingly and ensure you arrive at the airport in accordance with your travel itinerary.

A transfer will be arranged to take you to the airport based on your scheduled departure time. You will bid farewell to Kathmandu as you embark on your flight to your next destination.
