Ghorepani Circuit Hot spring trekking is one of the most popular among the adventure seekers. This beautiful trekking trail lies on the route of Annapurna. This itinerary is a perfect blend of Nepali culture and tradition. This trail passes through the green patchy valleys, rhododendron forests, and the snow-covered waterfalls. The Ghorepani Circuit Hot spring trekking takes you through the cultural tour through the villages of ethnic people. Mostly Thakali, Gurung and Magar are the major ethnic groups staying on this route.  As compared to other trekking trails, one will take the moderately easy route for the trekking along the forests and streams to explore the natural vegetation and endangered species of the Himalayas. This itinerary is designed for the trekkers of any level. Due to its moderate trekking difficulty, one can easily adore the natural beauty as well.  The major attraction of this trekking path is its hot spring. Two major sites where the trekkers can access the hot springs are Tatopani and Jhinu Dada. It is said that the warm water of the springs has the ability to cure any kind of skin disease and body pain. One can enjoy the amazing sunrise view of the mountains. On this trekking one will come close to nature to enjoy the serenity of it. The wide panoramic view of mountains and the cultural diversities of the local people will bring a gush of fresh air in mundane lifestyle.

Day 1: Arrival

Your journey will start at Tribhuvan Internation Airport. Our driver will take you to the hotel nearby. After checking into the hotel, you will be offered welcome drinks. Our guide will brief you the entire itinerary. After explaining the itinerary properly, the guide will look after the trekking gear of the tourists. As you will be trekking and you will have to carry your own luggage so without properly balanced rucksack it will be quite difficult for you to carry out the trekking.

Day 2: Kathmandu valley sightseeing

As your itinerary started from Kathmandu onwards, you must visit the heritage sites of the Kathmandu valley. The capital city of Kathmandu allures everyone for its heritage cultural site. It is a famous city with more than five world’s heritage site as listed by UNESCO. If you are traveling to Kathmandu then you must visit these amazing cultural heritage sites to know more about the enriched history of the country.

After taking breakfast you will be traveling to Pashupatinath temple. This temple stands out to be one of the popular pilgrimage sites for the Hindus. It is the temple devoted to Lord Pashupatinath. It is one of the cosmic manifestations of Lord Shiva. For the Shaivites, it is one of the religious sites to encounter the divine power. The temple complex of Pashupatinath will be an altogether experience as it has many temples devoted to different god and goddess.

After Pashupatinath temple visit, you will be traveling to Boudhanath temple. The height of the stupa dominates the beautiful skyline of the country. Your short trip to Kathmandu will remain incomplete without visiting this unique heritage site. This stupa was built on the ancient trade route in the northeastern part. Within the complex of the stupa, the tourists will find out a large population of Tibetan refugees.

The next halt will be Swayambhunath temple. The amazing architecture of the stupa stood on the location back from the Licchavi period. The enigmatic eyes of Buddha on the walls of the stupa are the major area of attraction. The eyes of Buddha are placed on four cardinal directions to shower its blessings to the city. The spectacular iconography of this stupa gets influences from the Vajrayana school of Newar Buddhist tradition.

In the evening you can stroll around the busy streets of Thamel. It is one of the most popular streets among the tourists for its amazing urban infrastructure. Along the streets, one will find out some of the best hotels, pubs, and restaurants.

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara

Distance: 204km (6-7hrs)

Today early in the morning you will be driving to Pokhara. It is the second populous city after Kathmandu. It is also known as the tourism capital of the country. It is a paradise for the adventure seekers for its amazing trekking trails. If you want to indulge in adventure sports in the laps of the Himalayas, then Pokhara is the perfect location for you to explore such adventurous sports. One can indulge in doing bungee jumping, paragliding and lots more. You will be driving along the Prithvi highway for around 7 hours to reach Pokhara.

After reaching you can go boating on Phewa Lake. Boating on this beautiful lake you can actually see the beauty of the surrounding mountain peaks and its reflection on the water of the lake will be an amazing site to enjoy. After boating you can go enjoy the amazing sunset in the mountains. The diming rays of the sun across the mountains will create memories to cherish for a lifetime. At night you will stay in Pokhara.

Day 4: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga

Altitude: Tikhedhunga: 1480m

Distance: 9.2km (4-5hrs)

Mode of transport: trekking

Today you will be coming out of your comfort shoes to carry out your trekking across the mountains. Early in the morning after breakfast you will be driving towards Nayapul. From there you will be staring your trekking across the green lush plains. You will trek along the Modi river valley. This river is an extensive tributary of Kali Gandaki. The amazing silvery water of the river is flowing through the creeks of the Annapurna. On Modi Khola, most people engage in white water kayaking. After crossing the bridge you will show the trekking permit and TIMS card to Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) office. From there you will be walking for 4-5 hrs. to reach Hile. It is a hill town located in the eastern part of Nepal. It is situated on the central location of Dhankuta Bazar. The trekkers love to explore the local market areas in Hile. On the way, you will be crossing the bamboo forests and passing the cascading mountain waterfalls. On your route you will be trekking along the banks of another river called Bhurungdi Khola til Tikhedhunga. At night you will stay there.

Day 5: Tikhedunga to Ghorepani

Meal: B/L/D

Altitude: 2874m

Distance: 13km(7-8hrs)

Mode of transport: trekking

Today early in the morning you will be trekking towards Ghorepani. Today you will be trekking along the cascading waterfalls through the beautiful rhododendron forests. In mountainous terrains, coniferous forests are quite amazing to enjoy. On the way, you will encounter amazing villages to explore. So today you will be climbing upwards till Ulleri Village. Due to its remote location, one has to hike to enjoy the incredible amazing view of the ambiance. This village is located far away from the urban landscape. The trekkers will definitely adore the beautiful steep climbing roads. Nearly 1000 steps have to be climbed up to reach the village. After reaching the village you will be taking your lunch before proceeding further. Post lunch you will be traveling across the Rhododendron forest to reach Nang Thati. It is located in the western part of Pokhara and from there one has to walk till Ghorepani. The name of the place came from the myth that the horses used to drink water from there. At night you will stay in Ghorepani.

Day 6: Ghorepani trek to Tatopani

Meal: B/L/D

Altitude: 3210m

Distance: 17km (4-5hrs)

Mode of transport: trekking

Today early in the morning you will be climbing up to Poon Hill. Mostly the guide suggests you start your trekking early in the morning for getting an amazing view of sunrise. From the top of Poon Hill, one can see the amazing snow Cladded Mountains and the first rays of the sun on the mountains. Very few can actually see the beauty of the mountains and the sun rays falling on it early in the morning.  After enjoying the natural grandeur of the mountains you will be trekking down to Shikha after having breakfast. Then you will be starting to trek across the small village of Tadapani. You will be taking your lunch in the village before proceeding towards Jhinu Danda hot spring. The trekkers travel to such remote location in the mountains to enjoy the warmth of hot springs. At night you will be staying in Tatopani.

Day 7: Tatopani to Pokhara

Distance: 100km (5hrs)

Today you will be trekking along the shores of Kali Gandaki River for around 6 hrs till Beni. After taking lunch you will be driving till Pokhara. If you have any time left then you can explore different places of Pokhara. At night you will be staying in Pokhara.

Day 8: Pokhara to Kathmandu

Distance: 203km (6hrs)

This day is kept as an extensive one in your itinerary for relaxation. Kathmandu is the hub of the country and one can travel to any other tourist spot located around.

You can travel to Chitwan national park for relishing the wilderness. You can also enjoy the jungle safari in the park. It is one of the world’s heritage sites as listed by UNESCO.

As you will be staying in Pokhara then you can easily explore the adventure sports in Pokhara. These sports are enchanting enough for you to explore the mountainous terrains of Pokhara.

Day 9: Departure
