Your journey will be starting from the capital city of Kathmandu. It is one of the ancient cities of the country that will completely offer you a pastiche of awe-inspiring heritage sites. Our driver will pick you up from the airport and drop you at the hotel. You will get a welcome drink on behalf of the hotel. Then you can go to the local sightseeing of the city. If you are an ardent lover of history and architecture, then you will definitely fall in love with the small historical artifacts of the city. Most of the population follows Hinduism in the country but Nepal welcomes followers all across religion. It is the cultural hub where the people all across countries come forward to enjoy. The unique sight of the heritage sites will be a lifetime experiment. In spite of the destructive earthquake, the capital city never loses its spirits in alluring the tourists.

Firstly you will be visiting Pashupatinath temple. This temple is built on the banks of the beautiful Bagmati River. It comes under one of UNESCO’s world heritage sites. Within the temple complex, you will find wide ranges of ashrams, temples devoted to other gods and goddesses. Pashupatinath is the national idol of the country. So it is a ritual to visit this auspicious place on your Nepal tour. Hindus consider it as one of the most sacred ones. On MahaShivratri, the pilgrims actually travel across countries to pour holy water on the idol of Pashupatinath. For Shaivites, it is one of the sacred abodes of Lord Shiva. During the reign of PrachandaDev, Licchavi King this temple was rebuilt.

If you are an ardent lover of architecture, then this pagoda styled Nepalese temple will definitely give you visual pleasure. The cubic structures along with carved rafters made out of wood are an added value to the architecture. The copper roof along with golden covering has given the temple elegant looks. The open corridor like outer sanctum and the inner sanctum of the idol is also adorned with skillful artworks.

Next, you will be visiting Boudhanath stupa. This place is quite famous among Buddhists. The large mandala makes this stupa as one of the largest ones in Nepal. It also comes under UNESCO’s world heritage sites. The staring eyes of Buddha directing into four directs are the main feature of this stupa. As per Buddhist religious scriptures, this site holds the last remains of the 27th of Buddha, Kassapa Buddha. The archaeologists believed that the site was built around the 14th century. After 2015 catastrophic destruction, it took 1 year to reconstruct the building. The priests performed 3days rituals of purification before opening the doors of the stupa. The mystic beauty of the place will definitely allure you to unravel history and architecture gradually.

In the evening you can visit the streets of Thamel for enjoying the nightlife in the capital city. You can also try out local delicacies in the streets of the capital city. At night you will be staying in Kathmandu.

 

Day 2: Kathmandu to Nagarkot

Today after taking breakfast you will be driving to Nagarkot via Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It is one of the heritage sites located in the eastern part of Kathmandu. Within the complex, you will find out four different squares. King JitamitraMalla during 1769 built this 55 window Palace. In the temple complex, you will find out temples devoted to different gods and goddess. If you are an ardent follower of architecture then you will be completely amazed at the skilled handworks of Newari artists. In the temple complex, you will find Pagoda styled temples as well. This place holds a symbolism of Nepalese architecture accurately to the tourists.

After visiting Bhaktapur, you will be traveling to Nagarkot. Driving across the trails of mountainous terrains always give the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature. It is an amazing experience to see the sunset in the mountains. While driving on the road, you will get a pleasant view of sudden changes in your journey. Day 3: Nagarkot to Chitwan

Early in the morning, you can opt for a beautiful sunrise view of Nagarkot. Among the tourists, this location is quite famous for its scenic beauty. It is a great opportunity for the backpackers to go hiking.

This small village is located around 32km on the east side of Kathmandu. Among the foreign backpackers, Nagarkot is quite famous for its extraordinary scenic beauty. The natural vegetation with a bio-diversified environment can also give you a chance to explore different varieties of flora and fauna.

Day 4: Chitwan National Park

Today you can relive your wild fantasies in the deep jungles of Chitwan. If you are an ardent nature lover then this place will definitely give you inner peace. You can visit a small town called Sauraha located near Rapti River. You will definitely get a budget plan for your safari. Traveling to Chitwan Park will remain incomplete without taking an elephant ride. Many tourists are quite scared for safety issues, but you can actually feel royalty at the back of these wild elephants. While taking this exciting ride, you can encounter endangered species of flora and fauna.

Elephant bathing is also another activity quite famous among tourists. You will feel at the top of the world while taking bath from the splashing out of the trunks. Day 5: Chitwan to Pokhara

Today you will be driving to another beautiful city of Nepal, Pokhara. It will take around 6 hours to reach the city of Pokhara. Mostly bus is used for commuting purpose between Chitwan and Pokhara. You will completely get the beautiful mountainous view while traveling. If you have altitude sickness then it is better to gulp medicine before commencing the journey. After reaching there, you can take rest in the hotel room.

 

Day 6: Pokhara sightseeing

Sunrise and mountains always share a soulful relation. You will get a picturesque canvas in front of your sight in Sarangkot. When the first rays of morning sun will fall on your face, you will internalize the famous view of the rising sun in the mountains. After taking breakfast, today you will be going for sightseeing around Pokhara. You will be visiting Bindebasini temple at first. It is one of the earliest temples located in the city of Pokhara. Kaski rulers built this temple. Goddess Durga is the prime deity of the temple. You will get a complete view of the Himalayas as well from this region. In the area of the local bazaar, you will find out the temple. With the visit to the temple, you will be visiting the old bazar premises as well. You will also go for visiting a waterfall called PataleChongo, located around 2kms away in the southwest direction of Pokhara. In the summers and monsoons, you will get the view of the gushing water falling from the waterfall. Next, you will be visiting the Gupteshwar cave, located just on the opposite side of the fall. If you are an ardent lover of architecture, then you will find this cave fascinating due to its natural forms made out of the deposits of limestone. You cannot take photographs in the premises of the caves. You will stay overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 7: Pokhara to Kathmandu
