Muktinath yatra is one of the celebrated pilgrimage tours among the Hindu and Buddhist devotees. This famous temple is located at an elevation of 3710m in Mustang district at the base of famous Thorong La pass. The Hindu devotees call this famous site as the place of salvation. It is one of the ancient temples devoted to Lord Vishnu. The devotees of Vaishnava sect refuge to this temple to understand the spiritual values of devotion. This temple is called as one of the self-manifested site, Swayam Vyakta Kshetras. It is 105th out of 108th Divya Desham sites devoted to Lord Vishnu. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

After your arrival at the airport, our driver will pick you up from the gateway. You will be dropped to the hotel. A small briefing will be provided by our distinct representative to give you an overview of the journey. In the evening you can go out to visit the beautiful temple architecture of Pashupatinath Temple. In Nepal, Lord Pashupatinath is believed to be the national deity. The cool breeze of Bagmati River and the sweet chimes of prayer bells of Pashupatinath temple will be a breathtaking experience. The calm and serenity of the surrounding will make your short trip complete. You will enjoy the spiritual upheaval in your senses. After enjoying such calmness in the temple complex, you will be redirected back to the hotel. At night you will stay in the capital city.
Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing

After enjoying the delicious breakfast, you will get ready for day tour across Kathmandu. First, you will visit Pashupatinath temple. This marvelous spiritual architecture was built by Licchavi kings in the 5th century. Inside the temple architecture, you will find out spectacular craftsmanship of sculptors. During the time of Mahashivratri, thousands of devotees visit this heavenly land to encounter the spirituality of Lord Pashupatinath. It is said that Pashupatinath is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Inside the temple complex, the tourists find out hermits, sages, and ascetics practicing penance on the banks of the river. Besides spiritual upliftment, one can also enjoy the marvelous architecture present within the complex.
Next, you will drive towards Patan. The cobbled red brick street and marvelous Durbar Square will be an amazing travel experience. This famous rock construction is quite famous among tourists. The architectural masterpiece will amaze your sight. After stepping into this land, one can sense the royalty. This place is located at the center of the city. The astounding sculpture and its narrative structure will be an amazing experience. Without a short visit to this magnificent place, one will never understand the architectural skills of Newari people.
Next, you will visit a religious site which is equally important to Buddhist and Hindu pilgrims. This marble white religious edifice is a symbol of the Buddhist school of thoughts. To catch a panoramic beautiful sight of Kathmandu valley, one will climb up to the top of the hill. The lush green sight of the valley will please your visual experience. The Newar people visit this site to practice Buddhism. The enigmatic eyes of Buddha drawn on the four sides of the stupa directing the four cardinal directions are pleasing to look at. The Vajrayana school of Newar Buddhism brought a strong influence on the iconography and paintings drawn on the stupa. In the evening you can visit the local market place for buying gifts for your relatives and friends. At night you will stay in the capital city.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Today early in the morning you will be driving towards Pokhara. This place is known to be the tourism capital of Nepal. It is a paradise land for mountain lovers. Everyone takes these mountainous terrains for enjoying the beauty of nature. In this route, the mountain lovers find a breath of fresh air. On the way, you will visit Manakamana temple. The pilgrims visit this temple shrine in the hope of fulfilling the desires. The temple is located in Gorkha district. The word Manakamana means the desire coming out of minds. So out of utter devotion to the goddess, the devotees take this arduous journey for seeking the blessings of the goddess. Devi Bhagwati is the main deity worshipped inside the inner sanctum of the temple. There is no direct roadway to the temple. One will have to reach the banks of River Trishuli in Kurintar. From there one will board a cable car to reach the top of the temple. This short 3km cable car ride will give you a picturesque sight of surrounding Annapurna, Himachuli and Manaslu mountain ranges. The four-storied pagoda styled temple is stood on a strong base of the stone shaped pedestal. The pilgrims have to carry either of the ingredients like an oil lamp, Janai, Vermillion, flowers, betel leaf, fruits, almonds, incense sticks and foods for the goddess. With the surrender of any of the items, the goddess will fulfill the desires of the pilgrims. After worshiping inside the temple complex, you will be driving towards Pokhara. After checking into the hotel, you can visit the Phewa Lake. This freshwater lake is located in the southern region of Pokhara valley. In the crystal blue water of Phewa Lake, you will find out the beautiful Tal Barahi temple. In this pagoda-style temple, goddess Durga is worshipped as the incarnation of Barahi (sow/pig). After visiting the temple, indulge yourself in boat riding on the crystal clear water of the lake. The reflection of the surrounding mountains and the crimson red colored sunset sky will definitely be a breathtaking experience.
Day 4: Fly to Jomsom and Muktinath darshan

Altitude: – Jomsom- 2743, Muktinath Temple – 3710m
Distance: -158km (20 minutes flight) and then 1hr drive to Ranipauwa

Today you will get ready for your Muktinath darshan. It is advisable to take an early morning flight to Jomsom. The passengers board small aircraft to fly to Jomsom. Every passenger gets the window seat to enjoy the majestic sight of mountains. In this 21 minutes flight, you will completely enjoy the surrounding mountains. The hotels are located in the vicinity of the airport. After landing in Jomsom you will meet the driver outside for further drive towards Ranipauwa. This place is the commercial area where the tourists stay on the way to Muktinath temple. The trekkers heading towards Annapurna Circuit also access the route. After reaching Ranipauwa, you will walk for 15-20minutes to reach the temple complex.
Before entering the holy shrine like the temple, one needs to take bath in the holy water coming out from the water spouts. This ritual considers as a process of purification of the body before entering sanctified space like temple shrine. Even in utmost weather conditions, the pilgrims take holy bath in the water coming out from the spouts. After taking the bath, the devotees will enter the inner sanctum of the temple. Before entering the temple shrine, you will find two water ponds known as Muktinath Kunda. The Muktinath Yatra is believed to be a journey where the soul will liberate from the bondage of bad karma.
Other than the temple visit, the pilgrims will visit Jwala Mai temple. The devotees remain awestruck with the magnificent beauty of the temple. One will find out water source inside the temple coming out from the rock. Inside the temple, there are natural gas cracks produce flames. Inside the temple, the devotees' name three main flames burning inside are called Holy flame from Water, rock, and soil. The pilgrims travel to the inner sanctum of the temple to witness the continuous burning of the flame.
Next, you will be visiting another temple close to Muktinath is Shri Swaminarayan. At the end of the 18th century, the sage practiced hard penance inside the temple shrine of Muktinath for more than 2.5months to attain salvation. In 2003, the disciples of Shri Swaminarayan built a small monument devoting to the sage around the temple wall of Muktinath.
Another major practice inside the temple complex is to collect Shaligram stone from the cascading water of Kali Gandaki River. This black stone is believed to be the physical manifestation of Lord Vishnu. The devotees find it pious to collect these precious stones as the form of Lord.
After visiting the temple premise, you will be returning back to Jomsom.
Day 5: Fly to Pokhara and then sightseeing

Distance: -155km (20minutes flight) and then local sightseeing around the city

Next, you will be flying towards Pokhara. This place is known to be the tourism capital of Nepal. The tourists visit this amazing place for its natural beauty. The mountain seekers use this trekking route for Annapurna and Everest Base Camp summit. In this route, the tourists will enjoy the abundance of nature. The amazing sight will leave an indelible impact in your mind. The flabbergasted sight of snow-capped peaks will be an exquisite sight to enjoy. After completing the breakfast, you will be going out for Pokhara sightseeing. Firstly you will start with the famous Bindebasini temple. It is one of the earliest temple shrines venerated by Kaski rulers in Pokhara. Devi Durga is the primary idol to be worshipped in this temple. Then you will be visiting Davi’s falls. It is located in Kaski district. The tunnel of the waterfall is 150m long. The local calls the waterfall as Patale Chango, meaning “underworld waterfall”. The falls pass to the cave known as Gupteshwar cave. You will find the beautiful statue of Lord Shiva inside the cave. The natural deposit of limestone and the cascading water from Davi’s falls make the place more exotic. The tourists travel to this mystic site for recreational purpose.
Optional: If you are adventurous at heart then you must indulge in experiencing the best kind of sports located in the mountainous terrains of Pokhara. The bungee jumping, paragliding, zip flying, river rafting, and many more sports will uplift your adventurous spree. At night you will stay in Pokhara.
Day 6: Pokhara to Chitwan

Today you will be driving to Chitwan. According to UNESCO, it comes under the world’s heritage sites. It is famous for its wildlife sanctuary. Very few national parks can conserve the wildlife so wonderfully. This national park will give you a few more reasons to fall in love with the country. You will take around 5hours to reach this secluded place. If you love to enjoy solitude and secluded time, then you will really enjoy your sole time in Chitwan. Traveling to Chitwan Park will remain incomplete without taking an elephant ride. Many tourists are quite scared for safety issues, but you can actually feel royalty at the back of these wild elephants. While taking this exciting ride, you can encounter endangered species of flora and fauna.
In the evening, you will go for the cultural show as arranged from our side. Mostly this culture show is designed to introduce the tourists with the ethnic cultural practices of Nepal. The fire dance and stick dance have been quite famous among the tourists as they show the root of ethnic cultural practices. You will have authentic Nepali dishes over here for dinner. At night you will stay near the national park of Chitwan.
Day 7: Chitwan to Kathmandu

Today early morning you will be driving towards the capital city. It will take around 6-7hrs to reach the capital city. On the way, you will enjoy the amazing sight of the plain land. After reaching the capital city, you can visit the local shop for buying gift and memoirs for the relatives. Before boarding your homebound flight, you will stroll across the streets of Kathmandu.
Day 8: Departure
