Trip Overview
Most of the trips have some highlights. Some of the trips focus more on particular tourist destination where as the other focuses on other parts. But this particular journey will be providing you with a glimpse of all the highlights of Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan and Lumbini. Kathmandu, being the capital of the country, is blessed with so many sites of cultural heritages. Some of them are even enlisted as the World Heritage Sites. In the same way, Pokhara is also one of the most exciting destinations. Due to various lakes present in this city, this city is also popularly known as the “City of Lakes”. Our next destination is towards the Terai region of Nepal. This region, which is also known as the “Storehouse of grains of Nepal” has plenty of cultivable lands and many natural resources. Our journey leads us to the National Park of Chitwan which is a home to numerous species of floras and faunas. Our journey does not end here. We will also be visiting the birth place of Gautam Buddha. Gautam Buddha is the apostle of peace to the world. Since this journey is mostly through the cultural heritages of Nepal, it is suitable for the people of all age groups. You can also opt to make this journey as your special honeymoon package.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, a representative of Nepal Tourism Package will receive you from the Tribhuvan International Airport. There is proper arrangement of transportation facilities from airport to the hotel where you will be residing for overnight. You can enjoy the rest of the time in the hotel or stroll around the ancient streets of Thamel. In the evening, NTP will host a dinner program along with some cultural program. Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
On this day, we begin our guided city tour after the breakfast itself. There are many cities in Kathmandu which are listed as World Heritage Site. Some of them are Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath. This tour will be helpful to get the knowledge and cultural practices popular in this region. After having tour, we return back to hotel for our overnight stay.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara via Manakamana Temple
On this day, after breakfast, we drive from Kathmandu towards Pokhara. It takes around 7 hours drive to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu. We recommend you to take the right pane of the bus as from there you can have a great chance to observe the sceneries along the way. Along the way, lies a famous temple of Manakamana. It takes just 10 minutes in a cable car to reach the hilltop of Manakamana where this temple is situated. After staying a while in this temple, we drive back towards Pokhara. After reaching there, our guide will lead you to one of the best hotels in Pokhara for your overnight stay.
Day 04: Pokhara Sightseeing
This day, in the early morning, we drive towards Sarangkot to view the fantastic view of the Sunrise. The glistening Himalayan range looks really awesome from this hill. After watching the sunrise view from this hill, we drive back to our hotel to have our breakfast. After breakfast, the tour around various beautiful sites around Pokhara begins. After being done with the sightseeing, we return back to our hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Drive to Chitwan
On this day, we begin our journey towards yet another famous city of Nepal. After breakfast, we catch a tourist bus leading towards Chitwan. It is a drive of around 4-5 hours to reach Chitwan from Pokhara. After reaching there, we will stay in a Resort for overnight.
Day 06: Jungle Safari in Chitwan
On this day, we make a tour in the National Park of Chitwan. This national park is an excellent place for jungle activities like Elephant safari, Bird watching, Canoeing etc. You might also be interested in visiting the elephant breeding center there. In the evening, you can enjoy the delicious cuisine at your resort along with the cultural dance program performed by the Tharu community of this place.
Day 07: Drive to Lumbini
Today after breakfast, we drive towards Lumbini. From Chitwan, Lumbini is very near. It takes only around three hours to reach there. After getting to the Lumbini, we visit the Japanese temple, Chinese temple, Asoka Pillar, Vietnam Temple, the birth place of Buddha, Maya Garden and many more Buddhist Stupas. After visiting all these places we choose one of the best hotels of this place for our overnight stay.
Day 08: Lumbini to Nagarkot
Drive back to Kathmandu and drive towards Nagarkot
This morning, we drive from Lumbini towards Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, we again drive towards Nagarkot for the overnight stay. In the evening we can enjoy the pleasant sunset view amidst the Himalayan Mountain from the hilltop of Nagarkot. After watching the sunset view, we get back to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 09: Drive Back to Kathmandu
In the early morning, we get up to see the magnificent sunrise view from the hilltop of Nagarkot. It is really splendid to get mesmerized with the view of Sunrise from this hill. There are so many mountains at sight and the early sun changing its aura from orange to bright silvery color looks really splendid. After watching this view to our heart’s content, we get back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we can either opt to get to Bhaktapur to have cultural tour or return back to Kathmandu. Please do feel free to spend the rest of the day here in Kathmandu itself. In the evening, the staffs of Nepal Tourism Package will sponsor a farewell dinner program to celebrate the successful completion of your tour. Your overnight would be in one of the best hotels at Kathmandu.
Day 10: Transfer to Airport
This is the last day of your stay with us for this time. Our representative will drop you to the International Airport for your final departure. You can also opt to extend your stay with us for yet another adventure with the family of Nepal Tourism Package
